I am a husband, father of four sons (ages 22-15), reader of books, and one who tries to live in awestruck wonder of the rugged beauty of the outdoors every single day. Also, I am a serial DIY’er and tinkerer. I love to create, fix, and improve everything around both my house and in my work life. 

Being the son of two school teachers (high school and elementary), I was born and raised in the educational world. My parents taught me to value learning and growth throughout my life and to view them as more of a journey versus a destination.


Fast forward a few decades and this guidance has served me well. From establishing annual intern team programs, facilitating onboarding sessions, creating managerial and executive engagements, leading global programs, and creating & driving competency-based curriculum & learning paths, I have come to appreciate the red-thread between each of these times in my life; people. And it is through people and their performance that all visions, missions, and goals are met. 

I work diligently to understand the questions and problems in order to create the best learning/change/development plans. These plans create confidence in and enable employees to achieve their purpose, be proud of the work we do together, and know they are supported by others and technology every step of the way. Optimizing systems and performance serve to limit the amount of time and resources an organization puts into a solution while simultaneously maximizing the output. 

Focused and purposeful strategy creation, organizational alignment to the strategy, and the translation of the strategy to the tactical actions people and teams will take to accomplish the strategy are all areas in which I gravitate towards and leverage to  drive outcomes for our clients.
